Danielle Lafhaj is a key member of the firm’s Healthcare Sector and Education Practice. She specializes in recruiting senior executive leaders and CEOs for provider and payor organizations, prominent academic medical centers, as well as nonprofits and foundations.

Based in Washington D.C., Danielle has established herself as a trusted client advisor, leveraging her nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She offers clients market-leading insights on opportunities for organizational growth and development. Danielle has hands-on experience in the nonprofit, for-profit and clinical healthcare sectors that guide her client work.

She joined Russell Reynolds Associates from UnitedHealth Group, where she was a Consultant with Optum Advisory Services. In this role she helped develop clinically integrated networks with major healthcare systems, physician organizations and non-acute providers. Previously, Danielle was with The Advisory Board Company, where she was Director of Talent Development. She has also served as the National President of the American Medical Student Association. Danielle began her career as a Scribe in the Emergency Department at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Arizona.

Danielle holds a BS in biology and society from Arizona State University and an MD from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
