The Sustainable Leadership Accelerator Program is specifically designed to bring cross-functional groups together to gain common understanding and focus on value creation. Participants typically include:

  • CEOs and C-suite Executives: Senior leaders who are responsible for setting strategic direction and driving sustainability initiatives, such as CFOs and GCs leading new compliance efforts.

How does the Sustainable Leadership Accelerator work?

Our experts will work with you to design a program that meets the specific development needs of your senior leadership team. A typical structure includes:

  • Program Design: After learning more about your company’s sustainability journey, goals, and challenges, we will build a bespoke program to fit your needs. We can scope programs for 5 to 50+ leaders, depending on your needs.

  • Participant Preparation: Each participant will complete a Sustainable Leadership Index assessment. The assessment provides individual scores across the five elements of the Sustainable Leadership Model, and helps participants enter the program with a clear understanding of their existing strengths and opportunities for improvement.

  • Program Delivery: Our program offerings span from half-day to three-day sessions, deliverable in either a virtual or in-person format.

  • Post-Program Peer Coaching: Peer Coaching groups foster a collaborative, constructive climate where participants draw on diverse viewpoints to address sustainable leadership challenges. Composed of four to five leaders, these groups are formed during the program and carry on as an ongoing support network once it ends.

 


 

Program Content

While each program is tailored to a specific organization, some common training modules include:

Module 1: State of the World – ESG and Sustainability

An interactive session discussing regional, geographic and industry-specific challenges related to ESG & Sustainability

Module 2: Finding Focus in a Noisy Context

A multi-dimensional view of stakeholders and how their needs are evolving, including tools for cutting through the noise to identify business priorities that provide strategic focus

Module 3: Sustainable Leadership Model in Action

An interactive session breaking down the Sustainable Leadership Model and pragmatic ways to put its insights into action, focusing on challenges faced by your team and with their key stakeholders

Module 4: Sustainability-Oriented Innovation

Leveraging real-life case studies and conceptual frameworks, participants will gain insight into the best practices for using sustainability as a lens for innovation, driving competitive advantage and greater value creation.

Module 5: Creating the Right Organizational Environment to Drive Sustainability

Building on the strategic, conceptual and tactical insights gained from the previous sessions, participants will explore two dimensions of an organizational environment needed to drive sustainability including formal structures and processes, and culture.
