Kanu Rajguru

Kanu Rajguru has 25 years of executive search and recruitment experience and has completed searches in over 35 countries. He has worked with leading global, regional and large cap banks and financial institutions, completing C-suite and senior executive searches across global banking, corporate and consumer banking, and asset and wealth management. He has also completed searches for key functional roles. He has been increasingly involved with leadership and succession planning, transformation, and digitalization initiatives within the banking and financial services industry.

Kanu joined Russell Reynolds Associates from another global executive search firm, where he was a Partner and head of banking and financial services – building out the practice across the Middle East and Africa during his 11-year tenure. Prior to this role, Kanu spent time at a global banking and financial services executive search firm in Dubai, working alongside top-tier banks across the Gulf Cooperation Council markets. Before that, he spent 10 years at an international recruitment consultancy where he established and led the firm’s executive search practice in the UK and subsequently relocated to Dubai to set up and head its banking and finance division for the MENA region. Kanu began his career at a specialist banking and financial services recruitment consultancy undertaking searches in London.
