Joelle Khoury

Joelle Khoury is a core member of the Financial Services sector at Russell Reynolds, with a special focus on Private Capital. She leads executive searches and succession planning for funds, portfolio companies and other public and private companies within the financial services industry, including in FinTech.

Joelle also conducts a broad range of senior-level searches in Legal, Regulatory & Compliance, as well as for Family Offices and in Real Estate advising clients of various sizes, stages, and geographies. Joelle is a member of the firm’s Financial Officers Practice and has led CFO searches across industries including private equity-backed portfolio companies.

Before joining Russell Reynolds, Joelle served as a Principal at another global executive search firm. Prior to her career in search, Joelle spent over 15 years as a practicing corporate attorney. During this period, she served as an associate at the international law firms of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and Cooley focused on corporate transactions, as Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for a large family office, and as General Counsel of Fifth Wall, a venture capital firm focused on investing in real estate technology.

Joelle believes deeply in the importance of building cohesive executive teams, and in her search work, draws on her experience in private capital, operations and advising companies of different sizes and stages in a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings and general strategy. Her clients value her practical and solutions-oriented approach.
