NEW YORK (PRWEB) May 11, 2022

Today at their Adapt: 2022 conference for leaders in the executive search profession and their clients, the global Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) honored recipients with awards in Lifetime Achievement, Excellence, Future of the Profession, Commitment to the Community, and for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA).

Bestowed since 1982, the AESC Lifetime Achievement Award is the capstone award for the executive search and leadership consulting profession, honoring significant, career-long achievement while recognizing the highest standards of work. Considered icons in the profession, recipients have long and distinguished careers and outstanding reputations. This year’s AESC Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to Clarke Murphy, President & CEO, 2011-2021, Russell Reynolds Associates.

Awarded since 2000, the AESC Award of Excellence honors individuals at the height of their careers who have made significant, outstanding contributions to the executive search and leadership consulting profession. This year’s AESC Award of Excellence is presented to Alan Kaplan, Founder and CEO, Kaplan Partners.

Awarded since 2015, the AESC Future of the Profession Award is designed to recognize the next generation of leaders in executive search and leadership consulting. It honors innovation and forward-thinking leadership and recipients are viewed as trailblazers in the profession. This year’s AESC Future of the Profession Award is presented to Nordia Edwards, Consultant, Spencer Stuart.

The AESC Commitment to the Community Award was established in 1993 to recognize an organization or individual who combines excellence in executive search or leadership consulting with a strong commitment to community service and volunteerism toward charitable causes. This year’s AESC Commitment to the Community Award is presented to Odgers Berndtson US for their service to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The AESC IDEA Award was established in 2020 to support the goals of the AESC Diversity Pledge, which was signed by more than 100 CEOs of leading executive search and leadership consulting firms. The award recognizes initiatives within the executive search and leadership consulting profession that demonstrate an exemplary commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity and access (IDEA). These initiatives must be of sufficient significance and external impact to be recognized as excellent by the profession. This year’s AESC IDEA Award is presented to the following:

  • Nick Chambers, Partner, Boyden – Toronto
  • Anna Luiza M. Osser, Partner, Osser&Osser – São Paulo
  • Stuart H. Sadick, Partner, Heidrick & Struggles – Boston

The late Alejandra Aranda, founder of Humanitas Executive Search, part of Cornerstone International Group, was also recognized with a posthumous AESC Lifetime Achievement Award for her significant contributions to the profession in her native Chile and across Latin America.

Karen Greenbaum, AESC President & CEO, said: “Through their commitment to excellence in the executive search and leadership consulting profession, our award recipients embody AESC’s purpose—dedicated to strengthening leadership worldwide. We are proud to honor their outstanding achievements.”
