Azra Gul is a member of the firm’s global Leadership & Succession practice. Based in New York, she advises clients in the areas of executive assessment, succession planning and development of individuals and teams. She is passionate about understanding what makes individuals and groups operate at their best and brings insights that promote observable, sustainable improvements in her clients’ performance.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Azra served as a Senior Leadership Consultant at a global leadership advisory firm. During her tenure, she worked with senior leaders to assess their leadership needs and helped them to achieve their goals. She started her career in project management in the nonprofit space in Germany, facilitating workshops on conflict resolution and leading art initiatives with a global community of artists.
Education & Affiliations
Azra received an MA in cultural studies from Leuphana University and an MA in social-organizational psychology from Columbia University. She is a member of New York Human Resources People & Strategy (NYHRPS) and the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Azra speaks English, German and Turkish.
