Sheetal Thakkar

Sheetal is a seasoned investment professional who helps leaders develop ESG, DEI, and sustainability initiatives within their businesses. She brings extensive expertise in global sustainability and is committed to promoting ESG, inclusion and diversity across corporate and investment strategies.

Based in Washington DC, Sheetal has over 15 years of experience in private equity, leveraged finance, and corporate finance, offering expertise in both the US and emerging markets.

Previously, she worked with DSP Investment Managers to plan and develop the firm’s strategic communications strategy across investment products and internal and external stakeholders. Before that, she was a member of the founding team that helped build the inaugural Growth Equity Private Equity Fund for the Tata Group - one of India’s leading business conglomerates. Sheetal has also held roles in PE, and equity and debt financing for mid-market buyouts at The Blackstone Group, Odyssey Investment Partners and UBS.
