Rafael Martínez Gallardo provides 360-degree leadership advice to clients across Latin America and internationally. Based in Mexico City, Rafael leverages a deep background in marketing and data to help clients recruit top executive-level talent, assess leadership teams and provide thoughtful market insights.

Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Rafael served as the chief marketing, sales & data officer at Metro International, where he oversaw sales operations across 10 Latin American markets. He was previously managing director at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide and later OgilvyOne Worldwide in Mexico. Rafael also co-founded and ran digital integration for an integrated communications agency. He began his career in content management for a mass media conglomerate.

Rafael holds a BS in communication studies from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico and an MA in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University.
