Nils Hopmann advises clients on critical business issues, including growing and managing their portfolio, constructing succession plans for boards and CEOs and assessing leaders during integrations and M&A. Dividing his time between the US, Europe and Asia, Nils oversees Commercial Strategy, Sector Operations, Knowledge and Pricing for Russell Reynolds Associates. He previously led our Global Healthcare Sector, managing unprecedented innovation, growth and client delivery. Nils has led several key client relationships for the firm while completing numerous high-profile searches for board members, CEO, and COO, along with complex M&A integrations. He also enjoys partnering with private equity and venture capital firms for successful M&A transactions. Nils joined Russell Reynolds from GE Healthcare International, where he was a regional manager in Europe. In that role, he was involved in acquisitions and the integrations that followed. Before that, he served as managing director for GE’s IT Solutions Europe Business, holding leadership roles in sales, services, internal consulting.

Nils received his Diplomkaufmann, equivalent to an MBA, from the University of Passau. He is fluent in English and German and has a working knowledge of French.
