Jesse is based in New York and leads Russell Reynolds Associates' Global Technology Officers Practice. He advises boards, CEOs, and executive teams of Fortune 1000 and multinational organizations on the appointment and succession of enterprise technology leaders, including chief information, technology, digital, AI, and data officers.
Jesse operates at the intersection of technology, business transformation, and enterprise leadership in an era defined by artificial intelligence. He partners with organizations undertaking large-scale modernization, AI-enabling operating model redesign, and platform-driven growth. His work goes beyond executive search, helping define how the mandates of technology leaders are evolving as AI reshapes enterprise strategy, governance, risk, and value creation.
In addition to his enterprise work, Jesse advises private equity investors on building technology and digitally enabled leadership teams that accelerate performance and scale portfolio companies. He supports sponsors in assessing leadership capabilities, strengthening succession pipelines, and aligning technology leaders with their investment theses.
Jesse joined Russell Reynolds in 2012 and has held multiple leadership roles within the firm. He previously served as Chief of Staff to former CEO Clarke Murphy, acting as a strategic advisor on firmwide priorities, operational effectiveness, and the global technology roadmap. In that role, he helped drive initiatives that enhanced organizational performance and strengthened the firm's digital and data capabilities.
Earlier in his career, Jesse contributed to the firm's thought leadership on digital transformation, data, and cyber leadership, developing data-driven insights on human capital, succession, and the evolving role of the technology executive.
Leadership is a choice you make, not a place you sit.
