Henry Gao partners with consumer and tech clients to attract and develop high-performing leaders to reach and win global markets. Based in Shanghai, he brings 15 years of experience advising on entrepreneurship, strategy, M&A, sales & marketing, digitalization, and human capital across various industries. His unique experience enables him to think differently and practice effectively when solving clients’ leadership problems.  

Previously, Henry was vice president and head of strategy at the rapidly growing digital marketing startup, Meetsocial Group. During his time there, he led business development and strategy teams and innovated end-to-end marketing solutions for tech and consumer giants in China.  Before that, he was general manager at Jala Group – a leading Chinese cosmetics company – where he created budgets, renovated brands, and led digital transformation projects. Henry began his career at top management consultancies including McKinsey, PwC and Mercer.
