Based in New York City, Ed Walters is a former investor and technology executive with experience in the technology, healthcare, climate, and real estate sectors. A member of the private capital and technology practices, Ed partners with boards, investors, and management teams navigating climate tech, the energy transition, and digital transformation across industries.

Prior to Russell Reynolds Associates, Ed cofounded two early-stage venture capital firms, built and led all go-to market functions on the executive team at Andreessen Horowitz-backed Mosaic, and worked at two global institutional investment firms. He started his career at Morningside Group, a global private equity and venture capital firm with offices in Asia and North America. Prior to Morningside, Ed worked in healthcare economic policy at the Brookings Institution and the United States Senate in Washington, D.C.

Ed holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MSc from the University of Oxford, and a BA from Trinity College. He is a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations, serves as Chairman of the Climate Collective, a climate technology innovation network, and is a venture partner at Overture, an early-stage venture fund that specializes in helping climate startups win government support and navigate regulatory complexity.
