Dorota Czarnota

Dorota provides a holistic view on executive and non-executive boards to ensure complementary and diverse skills, competences, experience and personalities in the boardroom. She possesses more than 30 years of executive experience, placing Polish and non-Polish executives with multinational and local companies since the opening of Poland’s economy.

Based in Warsaw, Dorota led the firm’s business operations in Poland and CEE, a broad region embracing amongst others Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Romania, for more than 20 years. She specializes in board director and chief executive officer searches, mainly for consumer, retail and financial services clients. She built our firm’s Private Equity and Family Businesses practices in the region.

Prior to joining the firm, Dorota was a Managing Partner at two other leading executive search firms, helping both establish and grow their business throughout Poland. Dorota also worked as a clinical psychologist and clinical therapist for 10 years.
