Chantal Swan

Chantal Swan focuses on C-suite and senior-level searches across multiple functions, with a specialization in senior R&D recruitments for early-stage biotech as well as established pharma multinationals. Chantal is a dual Swiss-American citizen with professional experience in both the US and Europe. She is based in Zurich.

Chantal brings 20 years of career experience, first as an academic scientist and more recently as an executive search professional. Before joining Russell Reynolds, Chantal helped develop the biotechnology practice at another top-tier global executive search firm.

Prior to working in the private sector, Chantal built her career in the fields of biological and environmental sciences, where she was a key contributor to global research efforts on the ocean’s role in climate change and held academic positions at US research centers and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, as well as served as a NASA graduate research fellow.
