EMEA

Achmea

  • CRO Michiel Delfos has decided to step down as a member of Achmea’s Executive Board in 2026. He joined the Executive Board in April 2022. The process to appoint a successor is underway.

Aegon

  • Aegon has appointed Holly Waters as Interim CHRO and Executive Committee member, promoted from Chief People and Places Officer at Transamerica, Aegon’s largest business. She takes over from Elisabetta Caldera, who is moving to Chanel, the luxury fashion brand.

Allianz

  • Dirk Vogler joins Allianz Partners as Board Member overseeing the new Mobility line of business and becoming CEO of Solvd. Previous Solvd CEO Anne-Sophie Grouchka is stepping down.

Aon

  • Byron Beebe has been appointed CEO of Human Capital at Aon, leading the firm’s integrated Health, Wealth and Talent solutions. He previously served as Global Chief Commercial Officer, Human Capital at Aon.

AXA

  • Karima Silvent has been appointed Deputy General Secretary at AXA Group, overseeing Human Resources, Audit, Compliance, AXA EssentiALL and GIE AXA. She previously served as Group CHRO.

  • Guillaume Borie has been appointed Global Head of Finance, Strategy, Underwriting, Risk and Technology at AXA, succeeding Frédéric de Courtois. He previously served as CEO of AXA France and will continue to report to Group CEO Thomas Buberl.

  • Matthieu Caillat has been appointed Group Chief Technology & AI Officer and CEO AXA Group Operations, succeeding Alexander Vollert. He will join AXA’s Management Committee and report to Guillaume Borie. Matthieu Caillat previously served as COO at AXA XL.

  • Alain Zweibrucker has been appointed CEO of AXA’s Health business, succeeding Nils Reich. He previously served as CEO of AXA UK Retail and earlier as CFO of AXA Switzerland.

  • Patric Deflorin has been appointed CEO of AXA Switzerland, succeeding Fabrizio Petrillo, who is leaving after 16 years with the company. Patric Deflorin previously served as Chief Distribution Officer at AXA Switzerland.

BNP Paribas Cardif

  • Charlotte Chevalier has been appointed Deputy CEO and Head of France and Luxembourg at BNP Paribas Cardif; she previously served as CEO of EMEA.

  • Nicolas Villet has been appointed CEO of the EMEA region and of Italy at BNP Paribas Cardif, making him a member of the Executive Committee.

  • Maxime Boyer-Chammard has been appointed COO, Efficiency, Technology & Operations at BNP Paribas Cardif; he previously served as Global Head of Investment and Funds Services Operations at BNP Paribas Securities Services.

  • Michael Nguyen has been appointed CEO of Asia at BNP Paribas Cardif; he previously served as Deputy CEO and COO, following earlier roles including Chief Information Officer. 

Generali

  • Giulio Terzariol has been appointed Group Deputy CEO at Generali, managing the Group’s insurance business and oversight of Banca Generali. The role of CEO Insurance, which he held since 2024, will be eliminated.

  • Generali Switzerland has split its Insurance division into Life and Non-Life, with Ralph Schmid continuing as Chief Insurance Officer Life.

  • Yvan Berthou has been appointed Chief Insurance Officer Non-Life at Generali Switzerland, joining the Executive Management team.

  • Eliana Sarli will assume the role of CFO Generali Switzerland; she succeeds Alessio Sarti, who will move to a Group Finance role at Generali’s head office.

  • Michel Foong has been appointed Chief Technology & Operations Officer at Generali Switzerland, succeeding Andreas Schlögl, who will leave Generali after 12 years.

  • Generali Deutschland appoints Feriha Zingal-Krpanić as Board Member for Corporate Clients, a newly created Board-level position. She joins from Ergo Versicherung, where she most recently served as Board Member responsible for Retail Business.

  • Generali Deutschland appoints Tamara Pagel as Chief Business Officer Broker; she will remain CEO of the Dialog Versicherungen. She is a member of the Management Board Team.

Helvetia Baloise Holding

  • Alexander Bockelmann has assumed the position of Group Chief Technology Officer for Helvetia Baloise. Prior to the merger, he held the same position for Baloise Group.

  • Sandra Hürlimann, previously Group Chief Technology Officer of Helvetia Group, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer Switzerland and a member of the Executive Management of Helvetia Baloise Switzerland.

  • David Ribeaud – who was CEO of Specialty Lines Switzerland and International while also serving as CEO of Specialty Markets – will continue as CEO of Specialty Markets and a member of the Group Executive Team. Going forward, he will additionally assume the chair role of Helvetia Global Solutions.

HDI

  • Thorsten Jahnke has been appointed Board Member for Broker and Cooperation Sales at HDI Deutschland, succeeding Thomas Lüer, who has been the acting lead over the past three years in addition to his role as Board Member for HDI Lebensversicherung AG.

  • Stefan Eversberg, previously Board Member of Sales, has been appointed Board Member responsible for Portfolio Management at HDI Deutschland, and Chairman of the Management Board of TARGO Lebensversicherung AG, TARGO Versicherung AG and LPV Lebensversicherung AG.

  • Holm Diez will step down from the Board of Management.

Legal & General

  • Andrew Kail has been appointed Group CFO at Legal & General, having previously served as CEO of Institutional Retirement and having spent 30 years in senior leadership roles at PwC. He succeeds Jeff Davies, who is stepping down as Group CFO to pursue a new opportunity outside.

  • Gareth Mee has been appointed CEO of Institutional Retirement at Legal & General (succeeding Andrew Kail), having served as Chief Investment Officer for the business and previously held senior roles at EY.

Mapfre

  • Mapfre has appointed Vanessa Escrivá as Group Chief Technology and Data Officer, with responsibility for technology, data and AI reporting directly to the Chairman and CEO.

  • Mapfre has expanded its Executive Committee with the appointment of Raúl Costilla Prieto, Group Chief Business Officer.

Swiss Re

  • Nicole Pieterse has been appointed Group Chief People Officer at Swiss Re, having most recently served as Head of Human Resources, Property & Casualty Reinsurance at the firm. Nicole Pieterse succeeds Cathy Desquesses, who is stepping down from the role for personal reasons.

Willis Towers Watson

  • Imran Qureshi has been appointed Global Head of Geographies at WTW, stepping out of the Head of North America role. He will continue to serve as the Global Head of Retirement and be a member of the Global Leadership team.

Zurich Insurance

  • Zurich Insurance has appointed Terry Powell as Group Chief Technology Officer, joining from ANZ Bank, where he led IT services transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.

  • Zurich Insurance has named Cristina Ghetti as Group Head of Digital Employee Experience, joining from Nestlé, where she led the company’s largest AI-tool rollout and enterprise-wide digital initiatives.

  • Sandro Meyer will retire as Head of Life at Zurich Insurance Switzerland. Thorsten Schneidewind has been appointed to succeed him as Head of Life and Member of the Management Team of Zurich Insurance Switzerland.

AMERICAS

AIG

  • John Neal will not join AIG as President after the company and Neal reached a mutual agreement due to personal circumstances.

  • Don Bailey has retired as EVP and CEO, North America Commercial Insurance at AIG, concluding a nearly 40-year career in the insurance industry.

  • Don Bailey’s retirement has led AIG to implement a new leadership structure for its North America Commercial business. Allison Cooper and Barbara Luck have been appointed Co-Presidents, Retail, while Lou Levinson has been named President Wholesale.

  • AIG has appointed Adam Clifford as CEO, International Commercial Insurance, joining from Everest Insurance, where he served as SVP and Head of International Retail Insurance.

  • AIG has appointed Scott Leney as Regional President, Asia Pacific, joining from Everest Insurance, where he served as Head of Asia Pacific.

  • Christophe Letondot has been appointed Global Head of Credit Lines at AIG, rejoining the company after more than a decade at Marsh, where he held several senior leadership roles.

Allstate

  • Mario Rizzo has been appointed EVP and COO at The Allstate Corporation, leading all market-facing businesses, including Property-Liability and Protection Services. He previously served as EVP and President, Property-Liability, and earlier as EVP and CFO.

  • Jess Merten has been named President, Property-Liability at The Allstate Corporation, succeeding Mario Rizzo.

  • John Dugenske has been appointed Interim CFO at The Allstate Corporation, succeeding Jess Merten. He continues as President, Investments and Corporate Strategy, and previously served as Group Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income at UBS Asset Management.

Berkshire Hathaway

  • Berkshire Hathaway has appointed Charles C. Chang as SVP and CFO, promoted from SVP and CFO of Berkshire Hathaway Energy. He will succeed Marc Hamburg, who will retire.

  • Berkshire Hathaway has appointed Michael O’Sullivan as General Counsel, joining from Snap, where he served as Chief Legal Officer.

  • Berkshire Hathaway’s Todd Combs will depart the group to join JPMorgan Chase, after leading the turnaround of GEICO and serving as one of Berkshire’s key investment managers. Berkshire Hathaway has appointed Nancy Pierce as CEO of GEICO, promoted from COO, following Todd Combs’s departure.

Chubb

  • Chubb has announced that John Lupica will retire as Vice Chairman, Chubb Group and Executive Chairman, North America Insurance, following a 25-year career with the company.

  • Brian Church has been appointed Division President, Property and Casualty, for Chubb Overseas General, the company's international general insurance operations. He will report to Paul McNamee, EVP Chubb Group and President, Overseas General Insurance.

CNA Financial Corporation

  • Catherine Roe has been appointed President of CNA Canada and member of the Executive Leadership Team. She previously served as EVP and Central Regional Leader at Aon.

Erie Insurance

  • Parimal Kumar has been appointed SVP, Information Technology at Erie Insurance, joining from QBE North America, where he most recently served as Head of Technology and Transformation.

Everest

  • Elias Habayeb has been appointed EVP and Group CFO of Everest; he previously served as CFO of Corebridge Financial and earlier held senior CFO roles at AIG. He succeeds Mark Kociancic, who is retiring and will remain as a special advisor during the transition.

  • Attila Kerényi has been appointed Group CRO at Everest; he previously served as CRO for Swiss Re’s Property & Casualty Reinsurance business. He will report to the Group CFO.

  • Anthony Vidovich has been appointed EVP and General Counsel at Everest Group, succeeding Ricardo Anzaldua, who is retiring from the role after serving as EVP and General Counsel.

  • Katy Bradica has been appointed Group Chief Actuary at Everest; she previously served as Group Chief Pricing Actuary and Head of Portfolio Management at AXA. She will report into Jim Williamson, President and CEO of Everest.

  • Gary Haase has been appointed EVP and CEO of Legacy Operations at Everest; he previously served as EVP and COO at CNA Financial and most recently advised private equity and technology firms.

  • Jason Keen has been appointed to lead Everest’s Global Wholesale and Specialty Insurance division as EVP and CEO of Global Wholesale and Specialty.

Lincoln Financial

  • Nilanjan (Neel) Adhya has been appointed EVP and Chief AI, Data and Analytics Officer at Lincoln Financial, joining from BlackRock, where he served as Chief Digital Officer and Global Head of Digital Platforms and Experiences.

  • John Morriss has been appointed EVP and Chief Investment Officer at Lincoln Financial, joining from Fortitude Re, where he served as SVP and Head of Public and Private Fixed Income.

Markel

  • Rohan Davies has been appointed Managing Director of Markel International’s newly created London Market business, having most recently served as Managing Director, Marine and Energy, at Markel International.

  • Tom Hillier has been appointed Chief Underwriting Officer at Markel International, having most recently served as Managing Director, Specialty. He takes over from Nick Line, who joined CFC earlier in 2025.

New York Life

  • Deepa Soni has been appointed EVP and Chief Information Officer at New York Life, joining from The Hartford, where she most recently served as Chief Information and Operations Officer.

Prudential Financial

  • Brad Hearn has been appointed President and CEO of Prudential Holdings of Japan, having previously served as COO for Prudential’s Japan operations. He succeeds Motofusa Hamada.

  • Prudential Financial announced that Caroline Feeney, Global Head of Retirement and Insurance, will depart the company as part of a broader leadership restructuring.

  • Prudential Financial has appointed Phil Waldeck as Head of U.S. Businesses, promoted from leading PGIM’s Multi-Asset and Quantitative Solutions unit.

  • Matt Armas has been appointed Chief Investment Officer of Prudential Financial, joining from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he most recently served as Global Co-Head of Insurance.

  • Armas succeeds Timothy L. Schmidt, who will retire in 2026 after 16 years with Prudential Financial.

Selective Insurance Group

  • Selective Insurance has appointed Nathan Rugge as EVP and Chief Actuary, promoted from SVP, Chief Corporate Actuary, Reserving, at the company.

  • Rugge succeeds Vincent Senia, who will retire after serving as EVP, Chief Actuary since 2017, following a 15-year career at Selective.

Truist Financial

  • Truist Financial has appointed Pascal Belaud as Chief AI & Data Officer, joining from a senior leadership career at Microsoft. He will report to Truist Chief Information Officer Steve Hagerman.

  • Lo Li has been appointed Chief Divisional Technology, Data and Operations Officer for Consumer and Small Business Banking, joining from Capital One, where she most recently served as Chief Technology Officer for the retail bank. She will report to Truist Chief Information Officer Steve Hagerman.

APAC 

FWD Group

  • Craig Tunstall has been appointed Interim Group CRO at FWD Group, having served as Chief Corporate Governance Officer at FWD Thailand. He succeeds Jeremy Porter, who is entering retirement following his tenure as Group CRO.

IAG

  • Phillip Gibson has been appointed Chief Executive of IAG New Zealand, joining from Accenture, where he most recently served as Senior Executive Advisor, following senior leadership roles at Aviva Canada.

  • Gibson succeeds Amanda Whiting, who has led IAG New Zealand since 2021 and will return to Australia into a Group role at IAG.

  • Emily Roberts has been appointed Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at IAG Australia, joining from American Express, where she most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of Consumer and Commercial Services for Australia and New Zealand.

MSIG

  • Eric Schaap has been appointed SVP and Global Broker Engagement Manager at MSIG, taking on a newly created global role following more than two decades of senior broker management and analytics leadership experience.

Prudential plc

  • John Cai will step down as Regional CEO Southeast Asia at Prudential plc, for personal reasons. Naveen Tahilyani will expand his remit to include Southeast Asia alongside India and Africa, and will also assume functional leadership for Agency and Health.

QBE

  • Chris Killourhy has been appointed Group CFO of QBE Insurance Group, having most recently served as Managing Director of QBE Re, following senior CFO and actuarial leadership roles within the group. Killourhy succeeds Inder Singh, who has served as Group CFO since 2018.

  • QBE has appointed Nick Hankin as Managing Director of QBE Re, promoted from Chief Underwriting Officer of QBE International. He succeeds Chris Killourhy.
