Ulrike Wieduwilt is the firm's Country Manager in Singapore and oversees operations in Southeast Asia. She focuses on senior-level assignments for clients in the Consumer Goods and Industry across all major regions. Ulrike specializes in conducting assignments for clients in fast moving consumer goods, both in industry and in trade/retail. Ulrike has completed numerous high-profile searches for board members and CEOs of German and European companies.
RECENT CLIENT EXPERIENCE
Ulrike's recent assignments in the Consumer Sector include closely cooperating with the management of global food and drink companies to recruit a country manager for several of their German operations. Ulrike has managed one of the skin care/ health care company's global client relationships for several years. Furthermore, she has recruited several non-executive consumer sector board members. In 2015 and 2016, Ulrike was based in Shanghai where she conducted searches for local multi-national companies.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1999, Ulrike was Managing Director, Marketing and Sales at Eugen Block AG. Previously, she had a 10-year career with Mars Inc. at Effem GmbH, a maker of pet food, plant care products and a wide range of other food products. Her most recent position there was that of Key Account Manager for large German consumer trade chains such as Tengelmann, Schlecker, Lidl VM, and Lidl Discount. Earlier, Ulrike was a Trade Marketing Manager and, before that, Human Resources Manager.
Ulrike is Board Member of the Foundation of Sustainability, and is on the non-executive Board of the Hamburg University for Business and Administration for the faculty certified Key Account Management.
Ulrike received her degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg. In addition, she gained international working experience by doing a number of internships in France, Italy, and the U.S. She is fluent in German and English and speaks some Chinese.
