Simon Kingston
Simon Kingston co-leads the firm’s Nonprofit Practice and is the founder of its Global Development Practice, as well as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He has a particular interest in global public health, global development and governance. He serves clients in a range of countries, conducting searches and related services for chairs and non-executive directors, chief executives and senior leaders of major global development organizations and directors of government departments. He works at both senior executive and board levels. Simon has longstanding relationships with leaders in public-private partnerships in global development and policy organizations, where he advises and supports them on leadership appointments.

Simon joined Russell Reynolds Associates in 2007. Prior to this, he was an academic.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Simon received his BA in history from Trinity College Dublin and his DPhil in history from the University of Oxford. He was subsequently a post-doctoral scholar at the University of Oxford and a tutor and retained lecturer at a number of its colleges. He completed an executive education program in Leading Professional Service Firms at Harvard Business School. Simon is a member of the Advisory Board of the British Irish Association and has published pieces on Irish and British politics and history. Simon is also co-founder of the West Cork History Festival and the Killarney Economic Conference.
