He is based in Chicago.
Norm recently led several high-profile search and advisory projects for a variety of Fortune 500 companies, private equity portfolio companies and family- and founder-led companies, including board, CEO, COO, CMO, CDO and more. He is also widely published on topics related to the future of tech-enabled, go-to-market leadership and is a regular contributor to Forbes as a global leader in marketing transformation.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Norm was chief marketing officer at Macy's and then at Claire's Stores, where he oversaw brand strategy, creative development, public relations, social media, creative strategy and merchandising strategy. He was also previously president of Havas Worldwide, a leading global advertising and communications services group. At Havas, Norm led a large team delivering global advertising, marketing, corporate communications, digital, social and media solutions. He began his career in advertising and has worked and lived in in five countries across three continents.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Norm received his HBA, with honors, in business administration from the Ivey School of Business at The University of Western Ontario in Canada.
