Nanaz Mohtashami

Nanaz Mohtashami is a globally recognized advisor to healthcare boards and CEOs, partnering with leadership teams across Europe and the United States to shape the future of healthcare organizations.

She advises chairs, boards, and chief executives on CEO and board succession, executive search, senior leadership assessment, and transformation-driven leadership challenges. Her approach is deeply strategy-led and long-term in perspective, focused on building resilient leadership teams and sustainable succession pipelines that enable organizations to navigate complexity, innovation, and growth.

Nanaz works across publicly listed companies, private and family-owned businesses, and private equity-backed organizations, often in complex, cross-border situations where governance, stakeholder alignment, and leadership continuity are critical.

In addition to her advisory work, Nanaz serves as a Non-Executive Director of Hologic, Inc. (S&P 500), where she is a member of the Compensation and the Nomination & Governance Committees. This board experience further strengthens her insight into the realities facing public company directors and CEOs today.

She is a member of Russell Reynolds Associates’ Global Senior Leadership Team and holds regional co-leadership responsibility for EMEA.

Earlier in her career, Nanaz was a strategy consultant with Monitor Group, advising leading healthcare organizations globally. She joined as an analyst and became the firm’s youngest female partner.
