Marcio Gadaleta


Marcio Gadaleta is a core member of the firm’s Technology Sector, based in São Paulo. As a trusted client advisor, he works with both multinational and regional companies to recruit, develop and retain top talent across the industry. Marcio leverages more than 20 years of IT and consulting experience, as well as a deep academic background, to understand, anticipate and tailor to client needs.

Previous Experience


Marcio joined Russell Reynolds Associates from Oracle, where he was a Business Development Director for Big Data & Analytics. In this role, he oversaw sales development of business analytics products in Brazil, including strategy, pipeline management and revenue growth. Previously, Marcio worked for SAS for eight years in roles of progressive seniority, including commercial strategy, segment management and business advisory. He has also worked with Norwich, IBM and Glaxo Wellcome.

In addition, Marcio currently teaches post-graduate courses on information management at USP/Escola Politecnica, and has previously taught at Pontifica Universidade Católica in Rio and the Faculdade de Informática Anglo-Americano.

Education


Marcio holds a BSc in telecom engineering from the Instituto Militar de Engenharia, a post-graduate degree in engineering economics and industrial organization from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, an Executive MBA in marketing and an MA in enterprise management from the Fundação Getulio Vargas. He is also a member of the American Society for Quality and the Project Management Institute. He speaks English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
