Laura Mantoura
Laura Mantoura is a key member of the firm’s Board & CEO Advisory Partners and co-leads the Women on Boards initiative in the US. She works across industries advising a broad spectrum of organizations on their CEO succession, leadership development, and board search and advisory needs. Laura has specific expertise in corporate governance, board and director evaluations, strategic board refreshment, and diversity mandates at the board level. Her work is global in nature, spanning the US and Europe, for both Fortune 250 and smaller or privately run organizations. She is based in New York, with prior on-the-ground international experience in the UK, France, Spain and across the US, having lived and worked on several continents.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Laura has more than 13 years of prior experience, predominantly in the professional services sector at Bain & Company, where she held a variety of both talent development and management consulting roles in London and San Francisco. She began her career as an analyst in JPMorgan’s Investment Banking M&A division, predominantly based in Paris. Laura also served as a board consultant at a boutique board-level executive recruitment firm in London, where she was a core member of the practice and specifically supported the company’s board director education program.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Laura holds an MA in modern and medieval languages (majoring in French and Spanish) from Girton College, University of Cambridge. She is a fellow member of the CIPD, UK.
