Franziska Funk is a member of the firm's global Leadership & Succession and Diversity & Inclusion Practices. Franziska advises CEOs and top executives on global succession planning, senior leadership development, executive assessment and coaching solutions. She has conducted a range of assignments for global organizations in more than 17 countries, helping clients across all industries to identify, select and grow their leadership talent. Franziska also specializes in M&A/post-merger integration and advising clients on succession planning and strategic hiring decisions. She is based in Frankfurt.
Franziska's recent engagements include leading post-merger integration assessments for two large global healthcare firms, ensuring a smooth transition from end to end, and conducting assessments and culture due diligence work for a technology company undergoing a merger. She has also provided executive coaching to a CEO of a publicly listed industrial company and partnered with a global OEM company to select senior leaders for an internal leadership development program. Additionally, she designed and conducted a customized succession program for a family-owned business and worked with the CEO of a consumer industry firm to gain an overview of their leadership talent pipeline.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 2013, Franziska was an executive search consultant at another consulting firm. She started her career in research, with a focus on executive selection and leadership.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Franziska received her BSc in psychology from Royal Holloway University of London and her MA in organizational psychology from Columbia University in New York. She also completed a certification as an NLP practitioner, as well as a coaching certification (program accredited by the German Coaching Federation-DCV). Franziska is fluent in English and German and speaks conversational Spanish.
