Chris Davis conducts C-level executive and board assignments for clients in the Financial Services, FinTech and Private Equity sectors, and co-leads the firm’s Digital Transformation Practice. He splits his time between Russell Reynolds Associates’ Toronto and New York offices.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Chris worked at McKinsey & Company in London and Toronto, where he was an Associate Partner and leader of the Financial Services Practice, Digital Practice and Data Analytics Practice. He led client engagements focused on customer-centric growth strategies, specializing in Financial Services and Technology sectors. Prior to McKinsey, Chris led a division of GfK, one of the largest market data services/data analytics firms in the world, based in London. He started his career at Dundee Securities (now part of Scotiabank) in Toronto, where he held roles in marketing/distribution and economic research.
In addition, Chris has authored numerous articles for industry publications such as the Harvard Business Review, McKinsey Quarterly and Forbes, and has presented at conferences on a variety of topics. He has also been a regular media commentator on business trends for various news organizations, including the Financial Times, The Times, CNBC Business, Standard & Poor's (S&P), and the BBC television and radio news.
Chris received his Bachelor of Commerce in finance from Queen's University and his Bachelor’s/Master’s in Law from the University of Oxford.
