Barnaby Noble


Based in Paris, Barnaby Noble is an active member of the Automotive Practice as well as the firm’s Industrial & Natural Resources Sector. Barnaby has an extensive background in consulting, strategy, private equity and finance, but specializes in automotive, power generation equipment, power services and rail infrastructure sectors. He has worked with blue-chip companies and professional services firms across all industries on executive search, board-level recruitment, succession planning and management assessment. 

Previous Experience


Barnaby joins us from another leading search firm where he served as a consultant for over three years in their industrial, automotive, legal and assessment practice. Prior to that, he was vice president global PSA-GM Alliance and vice president of strategy and business development for PSA Peugeot Citroen. Earlier in his career, Barnaby held senior leadership roles with Alstom, private equity fund Permira and Credit Suisse First Boston. He started his career at McKinsey and Company.

Affiliations


Barnaby has served on several boards, including France’s largest shipbuilding company. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Aspen Institute France.

Education


Barnaby earned a B.A. in art history from Brown University and graduated with high honors. He received his M.B.A. in international finance from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. Barnaby is a native speaker of French and English and is conversant in German, Italian and Spanish.
