Paul Kalsbeek

Based in Amsterdam, Paul Kalsbeek advises Industrial and Natural Resources, and Technology clients on C suite and board leadership, with a particular focus on operational excellence and digital transformation. He supports CEOs, boards, and executive teams on succession, team effectiveness, and the leadership demands of complex, international organizations. In addition, he works cross-industries on executive searches in Procurement and Technology.

Paul brings a distinctive blend of strategy consulting experience and senior corporate leadership. Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, he spent more than two decades at Microsoft, Shell, McKinsey, and Monitor Group, leading complex operational transformations in Procurement, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Capital Projects, and most recently in Digital and AI enabled functional change. He is known for his thorough, content-driven approach with a bias for action, his commitment to meritocracy, focus on people, and passion for working across international settings.

Paul speaks Dutch, English, German, and some French. He holds an MSc and a Masters in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and is completing a part time PhD in History of Economics at Leiden University.
