Dhruv Shah

Dhruv is a member of Russell Reynolds Associates' Financial Services Practice and focuses on helping organizations across banking, insurance, asset management, fintech, and private capital identify, assess, and develop senior leaders. He works with institutions at critical inflection points—scaling, transforming, entering new markets, navigating succession—helping them identify and build the leadership their next chapter requires.

Dhruv brings two decades of professional experience spanning retail banking, strategy consulting, and executive search. Before joining RRA, he spent over a decade at McKinsey & Company, where he was an Associate Partner advising financial institutions across India and Southeast Asia on transformation, growth, and large-scale organizational change. That background shapes how he helps clients approach leadership decisions, ensuring they are always anchored in business strategy and context.

He advises a wide range of clients—multinational institutions, conglomerates, private equity-backed businesses, family enterprises, and digital-native companies—on C-suite hiring, corporate officers and boards. He also brings deep experience in building and strengthening GCC leadership for global financial institutions.
