Q4 2025

Bank CIC Schweiz

  • Bank CIC Switzerland has appointed David Fusi, currently a member of the Executive Board and Head of Sales, as CEO.

Banque Cramer & Cie

  • Reto Kunz has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors. He succeeds Massimo Esposito, who will remain a member of the Board of Directors.
  • Fabian Käslin was appointed Head of Private Banking and member of the Executive Board.

Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB)

  • Marco Primavesi will not only step down as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Radicant at the end of the year, but will also leave the Bank Council of Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank.

Bitcoin Suisse

  • On 1 December 2025, Roman Przibylla took on the newly created role of Chief Client Officer. With this appointment, the Zug-based company is placing even greater focus on international ex-pansion and scaling its premium services.

BNP Paribas

  • Yusuf Savmaz took over the position of CEO Wealth Management Switzerland on 15 October. He has been responsible for the Swiss market at BNP Paribas since August 2022 and has been a member of the Wealth Management Switzerland Executive Committee since then. He previously worked at Credit Suisse.

Cembra

  • Cembra has appointed Bernardo de Barros Franco as Chief Customer & Growth Officer, effec-tive early December 2025. In this role, he will also be a member of the Executive Board.

Finma

  • Katia Villard, professor of criminal law at the University of Geneva, will replace Ursula Cassani Bossy, who has been on the Board of Directors since early 2020 (and is also a professor of crimi-nal law in Geneva), on 1 January 2026.

Freiburger Kantonalbank

  • Cédric Yerly, Chief Operating Officer, is leaving Banque Cantonale du Fribourg. He wants to take his career in a new direction and is looking for a business challenge in the private sector. François Briguet, former Head of IT and Transformation at BCF, will take over this role on an interim basis.

Graubünder Kantonalbank

  • Michèle Hess has been elected as the new member of the Bank Council of Graubündner Kanton-albank. She succeeds Ines Pöschel, who will step down from the Bank Council at the end of March 2026 after completing her second term of office.
  • The Bank Council of Graubündner Kantonalbank has appointed Jon Fadri Pitsch as a new mem-ber of the Executive Board. He will take over permanent management of the Markets business unit, which he has been leading on an interim basis since August 2025.

HSBC Privatbank Schweiz

  • HSBC has appointed Daniel Calado as the new interim CEO and Country Head of HSBC Switzerland. He succeeds John Shipman, who had only taken up the post in January 2025.

Hypothekarbank Lenzburg

  • Hypothekarbank Lenzburg is seeking a new Head of Finance & Risk. Stefan Meyer, the current holder of the position and a member of the Executive Board, is leaving Hypi at the end of January 2026 to take on a new professional challenge outside the company.

Julius Bär

  • Marc Blunier and Alain Krüger will jointly take over management of the Swiss market in January 2026. They succeed Patrick Prinz, who has decided to leave the bank for personal reasons. Krüger will also be appointed head of the Geneva office.
  • Victoria McLean to become Chief Compliance Officer of Julius Baer and join the Executive Board.

Liechtensteinische Landesbank

  • Markus Schifferle will be the new Group CFO. He succeeds Christoph Reich, who was appointed CEO of LLB in September, and will also become a member of the Group Executive Board.

Luzerner Kantonalbank

  • The Board of Directors of Luzerner Kantonalbank has proposed Bernadette Koch as a new member of the Board of Directors. The election is to take place at the Annual General Meeting on 13 April 2026.

Lombard Odier

  • Lombard Odier has appointed David Fournier as Head of Western Switzerland (excluding Geneva). He will manage the private banking activities from Lausanne from early 2026, as well as overseeing the branches in Fribourg, Vevey and Verbier.

Nidwaldner Kantonalbank

  • The Bank Council of Nidwaldner Kantonalbank has elected Urs Pfluger as the new CEO. He will take up his position on 1 July 2026.

Oddo BHF

  • Philippe Oddo will take over as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oddo BHF (Switzerland) with immediate effect, subject to approval by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
  • Hannes Gallus will become the new CEO in Switzerland; his appointment is also subject to approval by FINMA.

PostFinance

  • Postfinance has appointed Christian Mähr as Chief Development and People Officer. He will take up the position on 1 January 2026. Mähr brings with him more than 20 years of experience at leading Swiss and international banks. He is moving from UBS to Postfinance.
  • Heidi Steiger takes over as Head of Risk, Compliance & Legal at PostFinance.

Radicant (BLKB subsidiary)

  • Bruno Meyer became the new CEO of Radicant on 27 October. He succeeds Anton Stadelmann. Meyer brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector to the role. He joined from Incore Bank, where he was a member of the Executive Board until February 2025, heading up Corporate Services, which includes the CRO, CFO, Compliance and Legal departments.

Rahn & Bodmer

  • Simon Rahn will take on joint responsibility as a partner with unlimited liability at the owner-managed private bank on 1 January 2026. At the same time, his uncle, Peter Rahn, and his father, Christian Rahn, will be stepping down from the partnership after more than 35 years.

Schwyzer Kantonalbank (SZKB)

  • Jürg Hutter was appointed as the new Head of Corporate Clients. He took over from Adrian Eggenberger on 1 December 2025.

SIX

  • The Board of Directors of SIX has appointed André Helfenstein as its new Chairman with effect from 1 January 2026. He will take over from Thomas Wellauer, who had previously announced that he would not be standing for re-election at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Swissquote

  • Jan De Schepper will become the new CEO of the financial app Yuh while retaining his management functions at Swissquote. He is tasked with bringing the subsidiary closer together with the parent company.
  • Markus Dennler, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swissquote, will not stand for re-election at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The Board of Directors proposes Hans-Rudolf Köng as his successor.

UBS

  • Christian Zach has been appointed Head of Location and Head of Wealth Management at UBS Gstaad, effective 1 October 2025. He succeeds Hans Baumgartner, who will retire at the end of 2025.
  • Daniele Magazzeni is the new Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at UBS. In this newly created position, he will be responsible for driving forward the major bank's AI strategy, promoting innovation and accelerating the introduction of new technologies.
  • Lukas Gähwiler, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at UBS, is stepping down unexpectedly. He will leave UBS in spring 2026, shortly before the planned completion of the integration of Credit  Suisse
  • UBS Regional Director and Head of Wealth Management Romandie Patrick Bourloud is retiring. The manager has been with the bank without interruption since 1981 and has now decided to step down from his position on 1 November 2025.
  • Mike Dargan, Group Chief Operations and Technology Officer, is stepping down to become the CEO of N26. Beatriz Martin will take over the operations and technology teams.
  • After 45 years at UBS, including twelve years as Head of Corporate and Real Estate Business, Alain Conte will retire on 1 March 2026. He will be succeeded by Marc Nyffenegger, who has been with UBS for 19 years.
  • With the integration work complete, UBS will merge the COO and P&C divisions on March 1, 2026. Pieter Brouwer will become Chief Operating Officer of P&C, Switzerland Region and UBS Switzerland.

Vontobel

  • Dominique Gerster was appointed Head of Corporate Communications at Vontobel at the begin-ning of November 2025. With more than 25 years of professional experience in strategic, corporate and financial communications, Gerster is a proven expert, particularly in the financial sector, where he held various management positions at both UBS and Credit Suisse between 2005 and 2024, also advising top management.
  • Thomas Heinzl, member of the Group Executive Committee, has resigned as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer to take on a new professional challenge. Jan Marxfeld, Head of Fi-nance & Tax, will take on additional responsibility for the finance department on an interim basis with immediate effect. Esther Brügger, Head of Market and Credit Risk, will shoulder responsibility for the risk area.

Zuger Kantonalbank

  • Urs Rüegsegger, Chairman of the Bank Council, has submitted his resignation after six years. He has informed the Bank Council of Zuger Kantonalbank of his resignation at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 9 May 2026.
  • Zuger Kantonalbank has appointed Marcel Wespi as permanent Head of Private Banking. The manager, who had already taken on the role on an interim basis at the end of June in addition to his duties as Team Leader for Entrepreneurs & Executives, has now been confirmed in the position.
  • Thomas Elsener took over as Head of Corporate Banking at Zuger Kantonalbank from Martin Neuhaus on 1 December 2025. The long-standing Head of Corporate Client Advisory Services will leave the institution at the end of 2025.

Zürcher Kantonalbank

  • Anja Hochberg has been appointed Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investment Solutions in Private Banking at ZKB with effect from 1 January 2026. She will take over from Christoph Schenk, who is retiring in spring 2026. He has held the position since 2014.
