Ludovic Subran became Group Chief Investment Officer for Allianz in January 2025, succeeding Carsten Quitter, who is retiring. Ludovic Subran will remain as Chief Economist of Allianz SE.
Mario Skoric has been appointed CEO of Allianz Investment Management SE (AIM), succeeding Claus Stickler, who is retiring.
Ludovic Subran and Mario Skoric are both Managing Directors and will co-lead AIM.
Aymeric Martin has been appointed Chief Risk and Resilience Officer Allianz Commercial, joining the respective management board. He was previously CFO of Allianz Ireland.
Lara Martiner will become the new Global Head of Alternative Risk Transfer at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. She succeeds Grant Maxwell, who leaves Allianz at the end of June, and will maintain her current role as CEO of AGCS subsidiary Allianz Risk Transfer AG.
Aegon will nominate David Herzog, Lori Fouché and Jay Ralph as new members of its Board of Directors at the company’s AGM in June. David Herzog is envisioned to become Chair, succeeding William Connelly, who will remain on the board as a director. Dona Young will retire from the Board.
John Neal has been appointed Global Chairman of Climate Solutions and Global CEO of Reinsurance at Aon, effective after his notice period. He was previously CEO of Lloyd’s of London and earlier Group CEO of QBE.
Jennifer Richards has been appointed CEO of Asia Pacific at Aon, joining the Aon Executive Committee. She succeeds Anne Corona.
Terence Williams has been appointed Head of Commercial Risk Solutions for Asia Pacific. In this capacity, he reports to Joe Peiser, global CEO of Commercial Risk Solutions and Jennifer Richards, CEO of Asia Pacific. He will also join the Asia Pacific Executive Committee and the Global Commercial Risk Leadership Team.
Nadin Virani joins Aon as Global Head of Corporate Planning & Analytics. He was previously Head of Corporate Planning & Analysis at Broadridge.
Michael Neller transitions from Chief Accounting Officer and Global Controller at Aon to Deputy Global Chief People Officer, Total Rewards and Talent Development.
Craig Fazzini-Jones has been appointed Group Chief Operating Officer at Aviva and member of the Group Executive Committee. He was previously COO of Aviva’s Insurance, Wealth, and Retirement business.
CNP Assurance appoints Aurore van der Werf as Group Human Resources Director and member of the Executive Committee.
Lloyd’s CEO John Neal announced his departure from Lloyd’s in 2025, after having been in the post for over six years.
Lloyd’s appoints Alexandra Cliff as its CFO. Alexandra Cliff joined Lloyd’s as Deputy CFO in 2022 and currently serves on Lloyd’s Executive Committee. She succeeds Burkhard Keese.
Alexander Baugh has been appointed as an independent nominated member of Lloyd’s Council, Chair of Lloyd’s Risk Committee and a member of Lloyd’s Audit Committee.
Neil Maidment (the current Chair of Lloyd’s Risk Committee) will be stepping down from Lloyd’s Council at the end of January.
Klaus Endres has been appointed as the Head of Operations and IT and will join the management board. Tillmann Lukosch, the current Head of IT, Digitalization, and Processes, will be departing from the organization.
Volker Buchem has been appointed as the Head of People and Services, a position that also includes membership on the management board. Julia Merkel, the current head, will be leaving the organization.
Dragica Mischler will occupy the newly established management board position of Head of Finance and Risk.
Swiss Re has named Kera McDonald as Group Chief Underwriting Officer and member of the Group Executive Committee, effective June 1, 2025. She currently serves as Chief Underwriting Officer for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.
Patrick Raaflaub, Group Chief Risk Officer, and member of the Group Executive Committee will retire by the end of September 2025. A successor is yet to be named.
Anne Pullum will assume the co-leadership for WTW Corporate Development function, alongside CFO Andrew Krasner. Additionally she will continue to hold responsibility as Head of Europe. Her role as Head of Corporate Risk and Broking Europe will be assumed by Hugo Wegbrans.

Sarah Shine has been promoted to EVP at Erie Insurance. She was previously SVP of Experience & Customer Service.
Jim Williamson has been appointed President and CEO of Everest Group, effective immediately, having previously served as acting CEO, Group COO, and Head of Reinsurance and Insurance.
Hanover Insurance has announced the retirement of Warren E. Barnes, SVP, Corporate Controller, and Principal Accounting Officer. His responsibilities will be assumed by EVP and CFO Jeffrey M. Farber.
A. Morris ‘Mo’ Tooker has been appointed President of The Hartford. He was previously Head of Commercial Lines and joined the company in 2015 as Chief Underwriting Officer.
Phil Witherington will become President and Global CEO of Manulife. He previously led Manulife Asia.
Steve Finch has been appointed President and CEO of Manulife Asia, succeeding Phil Witherington; he was previously Manulife’s Chief Actuary.
Pragashini Fox has been appointed Chief People Officer at Manulife. She joins from Thomson Reuters and succeeds Pam Kimmet, who will retire.
Simon Wilson has been appointed CEO of Markel Insurance, overseeing Markel Specialty, Markel International, and Markel Global Reinsurance; he was previously President of Markel International.
Mary Jane Fortin has been appointed CFO at MassMutual, succeeding Betsy Ward, who has retired. Mary Jane Fortin joins from Thrivent Financial.
Toby Srihiran Brown, EVP and Global Head of Reinsurance at MetLife, has been appointed interim Chief Accounting Officer, following Tamara Schock’s resignation.
Michelle Samuel has been appointed SVP and Chief Customer Officer at Nationwide, succeeding Amy Shore, who has retired. Michelle Samuel previously led the direct-to-consumer business.
Ann Bair has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer at Nationwide, succeeding Ramon Jones, who is retiring after 25 years with the company.
John Carter, President and COO of Nationwide Financial, will retire at the end of 2025.

Simon Preston retires from his role as COO of FWD. Sid Sankaran, currently CFO, takes on the additional responsibilities.
Tsuyoshi Ijichi has been appointed Representative Director, President, and CEO of FWD Japan. He joins from MetLife and succeeds Hideki Yamagishi, who transitions to an advisory role.
Gary Goh has been appointed MD, Group IT at Great Eastern. He was previously Chief Technology & Operations Officer at AIA Malaysia.
Penelope (Penny) MacRae has been appointed Group Company Secretary at IAG.
Tsutomu Yamaguchi retires from his position as CFO of Sompo.
Masahiro Koike will be appointed President and CEO of Tokio Marine Holdings. He succeeds Satoru Komiya, who will transition to Chairman following Tsuyoshi Nagano’s resignation. Koike, currently Managing Executive Officer, will also assume the role of Group Chief Culture Officer, both roles currently held by Komiya.
