JP Cantos

JP is a leader in the Russell Reynolds Associates’ Technology Practice, specializing in digital infrastructure and the broader technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sector. He works across industries to advise clients on senior technology and IT leadership appointments.

JP partners with private equity–backed and Fortune 500 organizations, with a focus on data center, fiber, and tower infrastructure, as well as connectivity service providers, on their most critical executive appointments.

He brings a global perspective shaped by leadership roles across North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, he was a Senior Manager and Project Leader in the Global Strategy Group at Samsung Electronics in Seoul, operating within the Chairman's Office, where he led cross-functional strategic initiatives and developed new product concepts.

Earlier, he was a Senior Consultant and Team Leader at L.E.K. Consulting, advising C-level executives on high-impact strategic decisions. He also held corporate strategy and sales leadership roles at Citigroup and SmartFocus, and began his career in sales and marketing at Michael Page.
