He has successfully led global human resources functions, driving cultural transformation, digitalization of HR processes, and sustainability initiatives in complex, international organizations. With direct experience as a C-level executive, Markus has shaped corporate culture, strengthened governance, and built high-performing teams through periods of significant change.
In the life science sector, he directed HR strategy for a substantial and expanding global operating workforce, integrating country specific law requirements and embedding them into organizational structures and processes. In the consulting industry, Markus served as a managing partner and executive coach, advising senior leaders, executive boards, and public figures in business, sports, and government on leadership, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
