Abigail Skerrett

​Abigail Skerrett is a member of the firm's global energy practice; she co-leads the energy transition practice. She operates across Europe, the Middle East and Africa partnering with clients going through the energy transition, supporting them to align on talent needs at board, c-suite and functional levels. Abigail’s sector experience spans upstream and downstream oil and gas, oilfield services, EPC and renewable energy, including wind, solar, biofuels, waste-to-energy, clean technology and recycling.

She is passionate about the energy transition and the importance of appointing leaders with experience in low carbon who can complement the skills of an existing management team. Abigail has worked extensively with public companies and private equity funds.

She is adept in all key functional disciplines across the energy sector, she also has a track record I working for private equity funds, investing in the energy sector, to find leaders for portfolio companies at board and executive level.  She works cross boarder and is a highly collaborative member of RRA’s global energy practice.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Abigail spent 14 years at another large search firm in London, where she partnered with clients in the oil and gas, chemicals, oilfield services and equipment, and the engineering and construction and services sectors.

Abigail received her BSc in psychology from the University of Leeds and her MSc in occupational psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London. She has Level A and B Psychometric Testing qualifications.
