The Opportunity
Helping to build our global Industrial Practice at RRA.  We work  with Global  clients in the Industrial  sector  across Aerospace & Defence, Chemicals, Automotive, Capital & Electrical, Energy and Industrial Services. Clients range from global corporates, PE backed and Family owned businesses.  We need a Consultant who enjoys working in the Industrial  sector who can advise clients on their leadership challenges.

The Role
We are looking for a Consultant to join our market leading Industrial   team in Germany. The practice advises leaders and boards across the Industrial  ecosystem. RRA is retained by clients to lead confidential and high profile global searches across this space.  The Consultant will be involved in winning business and managing projects through to completion.   Over time, and as your executive search expertise and client relationships develop, successful performers are promoted to our Executive Director and Managing Director levels.  The role involves frequent collaboration with local and global colleagues within the Practice thus contributing to the wider growth and development of the practice.  We have a well developed new consultant program, with plenty of development and support as you make the transition.

The successful candidate will typically have 8-12 years work experience before joining us with relevant experience managing clients and leading relationships with C-suite executives.

  • Candidates may come from a number of backgrounds including strategy consulting, management consulting, executive search, recruitment, talent management, or a broader Industrial   industry role.
  • Many of those we hire into Russell Reynolds Associates come from outside of the Executive Search industry and we have many successful consultants who have made the transition from Management and Strategy Consultancy and Industry roles into search.
  • Will have an interest and some exposure to the Industrial sector.  
  • Degree preferred.
  • Will have held senior functional or project management roles and had responsibility for the successful delivery of projects/initiatives involving tight timelines, diverse stakeholders, and stretch objectives.
  • Show universal success in driving complex processes, delivering compelling solutions, and growing deep relationships
  • Entrepreneurial drive and intellectual agility are key traits as well as the confidence to work on a global basis with CEOs, Board Chairs and other senior leaders.
  • Interpersonal skills are very important, particularly the ability to impact senior individuals positively and, over time, build strong relationships at the Board level.
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills are crucial.
