In 2019, we became a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact along with some of the most progressive companies in the world. As the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, the UNGC is helping to drive meaningful change in meeting the SDGs by 2030. By putting our name on this mission, we pledge to embrace sustainability from an environmental, social, and governance perspective across our operational strategy, policies, and procedures.
Currently, 70% of our offices are LEED-certified or the local building equivalent and we have built our new Toronto office to be 100% LEED certified. This is just the beginning of having more sustainable RRA offices around the world.
We have also partnered with the UNGC to advance sustainable business leadership, launching a first-of-its-kind analysis of the behaviors and competencies possessed by sustainable leaders. Our joint study on Sustainable Leadership is the first of its kind in helping to identify the sustainable leaders of tomorrow.
In the market, we are committed to advising clients on the best community, sustainability, and DE&I practices which is led by a dedicated DE&I advisory team, who work with clients using equitable search practices. Our proprietary Inclusion Index measures indicators of an organization's inclusive culture and identifies strategic priorities to close gaps. We have also built a proprietary Leadership Span model that analyzes the core competencies of a candidate rather than affirming biases. Since 2017, we have partnered with Hogan to ensure all candidates are evaluated fairly.
Sustainability is a journey. It is one we are proud to be on—for us, our clients, and the world.
