Gretchen partners with clients across industries to identify leaders who will build strong brands, engage customer bases and grow market share.  Based in San Francisco, she brings over twenty years of experience in brand management, product launches, communications and PR, and P&L management. Gretchen’s expertise lies in finding best-in-class leaders for marketing and go-to-market roles – from product innovation and digital to brand strategy and consumer insights.  

Previously, Gretchen was a senior director of marketing at Peet’s Coffee, where she led brand marketing and communications as well as key growth initiatives for the company’s premium portfolio of coffee products. Before that, she spent over fifteen years as a marketing consultant advising leaders of consumer brands like Nestle, Ghirardelli, The Skinny Cow, and Del Monte Foods on strategic brand management, new product development and commercialization. She began her career in management consulting at PwC, Swander Pace and Kurt Salmon Associates.

Gretchen holds a BS in economics from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
