Daniela Nienstedt


Daniela Nienstedt focuses on searches for private equity clients, both investment professionals and senior leadership talent for portfolio companies. Within portfolio companies, Daniela’s focus is on the CEO and CFO positions. She has significant experience in working across sectors, ranging from industrial manufacturing companies to service businesses. Recent client experience includes recruiting directors and managing directors for private equity clients and CFOs for small-, mid- and large-cap portfolio companies. Daniela is based in Frankfurt.

Previous Experience


Daniela joined Russell Reynolds Associates from AlixPartners, a consultancy focused on restructuring, where she served as a Director for close to eight years. In that role, she advised privately owned enterprises and multinational firms on implementing restructuring and performance improvement programs. Prior to that, Daniela was a Senior Associate Consultant for L.E.K. Consulting, where she focused entirely on private equity pre-deal advisory. Earlier, Daniela was a management consultant with PA Consulting, focused on the manufacturing and automotive industry, where she worked on strategic as well as operational challenges. She began her career in banking at Helaba.

Education & Affiliations


Daniela earned an MA in finance from Portland State University and a diploma from ESB Reutlingen in international business studies. She speaks fluent English and German and is proficient in Italian, Spanish and French.
