Ulrike Wieduwilt focuses on senior-level assignments for consumer products clients. Based in Hamburg, she specializes in conducting assignments for clients in fast moving consumer goods, both in industry and in trade/retail. Ulrike has completed numerous high-profile searches for board members and CEOs of German and European companies.

Recent Client Experience

Ulrike's recent assignments in the consumer sector include closely cooperating with the management of global food and drink companies to recruit a country manager for several of their German operations. Ulrike has been managing one of the food company's global client relationships for several years. Furthermore, she has recruited several non-executive retail sector board members.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1999, Ulrike was managing director for marketing and sales at Eugen Block AG. Previously, she had a 10-year career with Mars Inc. at Effem GmbH, a maker of pet food, plant care products and a wide range of other food products. Her most recent position there was that of key account manager for large German consumer trade chains such as Tengelmann, Schlecker, Lidl VM, and Lidl Discount. Earlier, Ulrike was a trade marketing manager and, before that, personnel manager.

Education

Ulrike received her degree in economics from the University of Hamburg. In addition, she gained international working experience by doing a number of internships in France, Italy, and the USA. She is fluent in German and English.
