Stephanie Tomasso specializes in conducting senior leadership searches within the public policy and health care arenas and is a member of the firm’s Trade and Professional Association, Health Services, and Government and Regulatory Affairs practices. She focuses on leading trade association CEO and senior-level public policy assignments for a broad range of nonprofit and corporate clients in industries including health care, energy, financial services and technology. Stephanie also recruits general management and clinically-focused health care executives. She is based in Washington, D.C.

Recent Client Experience

Stephanie has recently recruited CEOs for associations representing pediatric hospitals, international energy companies, global financial institutions, municipal government, as well as professional associations in the education and health care sectors. Her work also includes the recruitment of an Editor for the world’s leading medical journal as well as the Executive Director of an innovative collaborative focused on the delivery of quality patient care. Additionally, Stephanie has led engagements to recruit the Heads of Public Policy and Government Affairs to numerous corporate entities and trade associations.

Previous Experience

Stephanie has more than 13 years of executive search experience in Washington. D.C., having spent seven years with another large, international search firm before joining Russell Reynolds Associates. Prior to entering the search industry, Stephanie began her career as a Management Consultant.

Additional Professional Activities

Stephanie serves on the local board of Girls on the Run, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of good choices for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living among girls in 3rd through 8th grade.

Stephanie received her B.A. in history from Washington and Lee University.
