Sophie Saeed

Sophie Saeed is the Global Practice Leader for Global Banking and Markets and a member of the firm’s Financial Services Sector. She leads searches for senior roles within investment banking, capital markets advisory, corporate banking and transaction banking. She also works within private equity and alternative investing. Recent work includes global, European and UK roles for investment banks and boutiques across sector, country and product advisory teams. She has also conducted searches for leaders within corporate and transaction banking across EMEA. On the buyside, Sophie has completed searches for the most prominent private equity, infrastructure and credit funds. She has also led M&A and corporate development engagements for global corporations. Sophie is based in London.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Sophie spent seven years in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Most recently, she was an Executive Director in Leveraged Finance, where she arranged and underwrote debt financing for clients across Europe. Previously, Sophie worked in the telecommunications, media and technology investment banking advisory team.
