Constantine Alexandrakis

Constantine Alexandrakis leads the firm’s Chicago office. His advisory and search expertise ranges from board of director assignments for companies across all industries, to corporate officer recruitment. The latter ranges from the CEO level to functional roles, with an industry specialization in Technology and Business and Professional Services, and a functional specialization in Information Officers. Constantine also helps lead the firm’s Digital EDU capabilities, assisting a broad set of education-focused clients in their assessment and recruitment of transformational leaders for their businesses.

Recent Client Experience

Constantine's recent board of director assignments include working closely with the CEO and board of a Fortune 20 company to add several new board members following a spin-off, helping a company rebuild its board as it exited bankruptcy, and assisting a younger fast growth company in adding significant new expertise as the founding board members approached retirement. With respect to technology and business and professional services, Constantine recently worked with an IT services market leader to recruit a chief executive officer, and with a major B-to-C services company to recruit the president of a fast-growing division. On the information officers front, Constantine assisted a major global services company to recruit a CIO to help the company completely transform and e-enable its customer experience. In the Digital EDU world, Constantine worked with the private equity owners of an education company undergoing significant change, to recruit a CEO who can help shape the new era of technology-enabled education.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Constantine was vice president of operations at web solutions provider Hostway Corporation, and a strategy consultant for Towers Watson. Earlier, Constantine worked as a financial analyst with United Airlines.

Additional Professional Activities

Constantine is a member of the board of the Chicago Children's Museum, a member of the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Foundation Board, a director of the Princeton Club of Chicago, and a member of The Executives' Club of Chicago. He is also a member of the Florida Bar.

Education

Constantine received his A.B. in economics from Princeton University (cum laude), his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
