The Crain's Chicago Business article, "Uptake hires Morningstar CTO," features a quote from Russell Reynolds Associates' Eric Sigurdson about Uptake's newest high profile hire. The article is excerpted below.
Goff, 44, started at Uptake last week as chief product officer, and he'll be helping shape its technology roadmap. He had been at Morningstar for the past four years. He also worked at Nielsen, Accenture and dot-com era startup Blue Meteor.
He's the second high-profile local exec to sign on at Uptake in recent months. Sonny Garg, Exelon's chief information officer, joined to head up an energy vertical for the startup.
"Greg is one of the top CTOs in Chicago with significant experience working in data-intensive industries," said Eric Sigurdson, co-leader of the information officers practice at recruiter Russell Reynolds Associates in Chicago. “He was a perfect fit to join Sonny at Uptake."
