“There has been a surge in inquiries in recent weeks from P&C companies looking to hire diverse candidates specifically for executive positions. Not just at the entry-level but across all ranks,” Bradlee Benn, leader of the diversity and inclusion advisory practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, told P&C Specialist in an interview. “Companies are realizing fostering diverse and inclusive workplaces can boost companies in big ways, including improving financial performance and sparking innovation as well as building a strong connection with customers.”
“The greatest opportunity for broad influence comes when a diversity chief reports directly to the CEO,” Benn said.
