Kalpana Denzel

Kalpana Denzel is a member of the firm's Consumer sector. She conducts leadership assignments across the Asia Pacific region for both global and Asian multi-nationals, including family led businesses. She also co-leads the firm's Diversity and Inclusion practice and is an active member of the Higher Education Practice and the Corporate Officer Practice; with a focus on Human Resources. Based in Singapore, Kalpana brings extensive, in-depth experience across the Southeast Asian region.

Recent Client Experience

Kalpana has led a broad range of assignments for senior executives within the consumer goods, luxury, and retail sectors, as well as the leisure and hospitality industries. She has successfully completed searches for Regional Presidents, Chief Marketing Officers, and Country Managing Directors.  

Previous Experience

Kalpana brings extensive international experience in several industries including consumer goods, higher education, and non-profit, working within Asia, Europe and the U.S. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Kalpana spent over five years working with the Young Presidents' Organization, a peer network of CEOs, most recently serving as the Director for Member Networks based first in Hong Kong and then Singapore. Previously, she served as the Director of Marketing, Admissions, and Career Services for the IMD MBA Program in Switzerland. She was also in brand management with Procter and Gamble in Germany and Switzerland. Kalpana started her career with Andersen Consulting working in the Washington D.C. and London offices.


Kalpana received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech University, and her M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where she was an F.C. Austin Scholar.
