Liberty Mutual offers top salary satisfaction among major P&C carriers, according to employee-volunteered data available on Indeed, a job listings and company reviews platform. 

About 72% of the 4,262 Liberty Mutual employees who responded reported salary satisfaction. Travelers and Nationwide followed, both with 69% salary satisfaction ratings, based on 904 and 3,060 responses respectively.

Other recruiting experts echo the importance of salary satisfaction –– and employees’ satisfaction with their company cultures. 

“Due to the increase in virtual working, the lack of social connectivity has weakened the affinity between employee and company, so companies need to make greater efforts to retain their top talent," said Limore Zilberman, who leads the insurance practice at Russell Reynolds. ”Compensation and benefits are an important lever, but non-financial levers are increasingly critical. A stronger leadership focus on purpose, values, and improved leadership transparency and communication can help to reinforce employees’ bonds with their company.”
