The instability caused by the pandemic shows the disconnect between the C-level and the board of directors. This concept appears in a recent report of 1,327 business leaders from 53 countries, including Brazil, by consulting firm Russell Reynolds. 

“At a time when leaders needed to make decisions in uncertainty and ambiguity, this sense of disconnect is an element of concern. And it can be due to the lack of diversity and worldviews on the board,” says Flávia Leão, country manager of Russell Reynold Associates.
