Sandra Schwarzer is a key member of the firm’s Technology and Global Customer Activation & Growth Practices, as well as its Board & CEO Partners. Based in London, she works across industries to recruit digital and technology officers and technology-focused non-executive directors, advises on succession with a particular focus on diversity and works with global companies on leadership assessments. Recent projects include several highly visible CIO roles in the UK and Germany, a number of commercial leadership roles in software/technology services organizations, technology advisors for a global Private Equity Fund, a multi-year global board succession project and a leadership assessment for a leading FMCG. Sandra leverages her global perspective and previous HR experience to focus on diversity and inclusion.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Sandra served as Global Human Resources Director with Open Society Foundations, George Soros’s private philanthropy. Earlier, she worked at INSEAD across France and Singapore as the Director of MBA/EMBA and Alumni Career Services. Sandra began her career at Société Générale as a member of the internal business audit and inspection unit, where she worked on assignments across France, UK, US, Belgium and Germany.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Sandra holds a First Class BA (Hons) in French studies from University of London in Paris and an MA in International Business from Sciences Po Paris. She also received her Executive Master in Change from INSEAD. Sandra is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and was a board member for INDEVOR, INSEAD’s Social Impact Organization.
