Masahiro Kishida leads the firm’s Tokyo office and is a core member of the Board & CEO Advisory Partners and Private Equity Practice. Masahiro leverages a strong management consulting background to effectively partner with leadership teams and boards of Japanese and multinational clients.
Masahiro joined Russell Reynolds Associates from Kearney, a global management consultancy, where he was Japan unit lead and a member of the firm’s board of directors. During his tenure, he advised influential Japanese companies on corporate strategy, business strategy, leadership development, M&A and transformation and supported private equity clients on M&A and the upvalue of their portfolio companies. Prior to joining Kearney, he was a partner at Booz & Company/Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led the firm’s Japan business and served as a member of its professional standards committee, as well as a partner at Roland Berger. He started his career at Parco, a shopping mall developer, leading marketing activities in Japan and town revitalization projects in Southeast Asia, before working at The Japan Research Institute as a business consultant.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Masahiro holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he earned the title of Stern Scholar.
