Kelly Scherer is a member of the firm’s global Leadership & Succession practice. She specializes in tailored executive leadership assessment, development, succession planning and coaching for clients across sectors and geographies. Kelly leverages a deep background in organizational psychology and leadership consulting to offer market-leading insights and innovative development frameworks. She is based in Chicago.
Kelly joined Russell Reynolds Associates from Vantage Leadership Consulting, where she was a Consultant and Coach. During her tenure, she focused on leadership assessment, succession and development. Kelly spent her tenure advising stakeholders, customizing selection and development assessments, and developing leaders.
Education & Affiliations
Kelly holds a BA in both psychology and English from Villanova University and a PhD in industrial and organizational psychology from Purdue University. She also holds several assessment certifications from MRG, Hogan and Pinsight. Kelly is an active volunteer with Chicago’s Cara Program, helping disadvantaged jobseekers obtain and sustain quality employment. She is also a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association.
