Fiona Knight is a senior member of the firm’s global Leadership & Succession Practice and Board & CEO Advisory Partners. She works across industries with a particular focus on CEO succession and transitions, as well as advising clients on broader senior executive assessment, development and succession planning to help identify best-in-class talent, make robust decisions and prepare leadership for the future. She is based in London.
Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Fiona spent nine years in the organizational psychology field, working both in-house with a leading global talent solutions firm and as an independent consultant. She designed and delivered bespoke selection, assessment, leadership development and diversity and inclusion initiatives, working primarily with high-profile government organizations and ensuring robust solutions fit for the complex strategic, fiscal and reputational challenges these clients faced.
Fiona began her career as a professionally trained classical actress and specialized in playing Shakespeare. As well as applying evidence-based psychological principles in her work, she has a strong understanding of how creative approaches can be used to enhance leaders’ self-awareness, increase executive impact and effect behavioral change.
Education & Affiliations
Fiona holds an MSc in organizational psychology from Birkbeck College, University of London. She is a Principal Practitioner of the Association for Business Psychology, an experienced psychometric practitioner accredited by the British Psychological Society and an advanced practitioner of the Hogan psychometrics suite.
Fiona also holds a BA in English literature from the University of Warwick and an MA in classical acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
