Elizabeth “Bizzy” Balaraman is a member of the firm’s Healthcare Practice and is based in San Francisco.  She advises clients within the biotech, medical device, pharmaceutical and digital health space. 

Previous Experience

Bizzy joins us from The Advisory Board Company, a leading healthcare research and consulting firm, where she served as Senior Director for over four years.  In that role, she worked closely with executives from health systems and medical device manufacturers on clinical variation and supply chain initiatives. She also has significant experience advising senior management across the provider and supplier space. Prior to that role, Bizzy worked at Washington Hospital Healthcare System where she managed special projects related to legislative affairs and strategies for the CEO.  Earlier in her career, Bizzy worked in research at The Advisory Board Company focusing on evaluating emerging clinical technologies and equipment. She began her career as a research associate at various academic medical centers where she specialized in diagnostics for autism spectrum disorders and developmental disorders.

Bizzy holds a B.A. in Psychology and Health Policy from Harvard University.
