Beatrice Ballini


Beatrice Ballini is a senior member of the firm’s Retail Practice. She leads family business services and is a leader of the Board and CEO Advisory Partners group. Binational, French and Italian, Beatrice was based out of the Paris office for 15 years. She is now based in Milan, from where she conducts global assignments working with world-renowned clients, family businesses and private equity funds. Over the past 10 years, Beatrice has worked on numerous CEO succession and board searches.

Previous Experience


Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates 20 years ago, Beatrice was the CEO of a prominent men’s clothing manufacturer in Milan and assisted with the company's strategic growth. Earlier, she spent four years with Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York as Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. Beatrice began her career with Bain & Co., first in London as a Consultant and later in Boston as a Manager.

Education & Affiliations


Beatrice received her laurea degree in chemical engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan and her Master's in Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She then received her MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she was awarded the Brooks Prize. Beatrice is fluent in Italian, French and English. She is also a member of the Italian Association of Engineers and was a teacher at Sciences Po, Master in Marketing, in Paris. Recently, Beatrice joined the MIT Sloan European, Middle Eastern, South Asian and African Executive Board.
